Axis Token

Axis Token (AXIS) is an ERC-20 token on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. It is the native token of Axis Robotics, a platform that collects, verifies and processes training data for artificial intelligence (AI) systems used in robotics.

Axis Robotics allows contributors to control simulated robots through a web browser, completing tasks such as picking up, moving and manipulating objects. These interactions generate movement data, known as trajectories, which is verified and processed before being used to train robotic AI models. Contributors can also intervene when a model makes mistakes during simulated tasks, providing corrective data for further training.

The platform uses a feedback process in which training data is collected, models are trained and their performance is evaluated to identify areas requiring further training. Axis Robotics is also developing a mobile application to collect human movement data from real-world activities.

The project uses blockchain technology to maintain verifiable records of accepted data contributions, linking contributors, tasks and quality scores to records on Base, while the underlying training data is stored off-chain.

AXIS is designed to support participation and coordination within the Axis Robotics ecosystem. The token is associated with a contributor reward system that recognises verified robotics training data submitted through the platform. Contributions are evaluated based on task completion and data quality, with qualifying activity recorded through a points system.

Axis Robotics also plans to introduce staking and governance mechanisms that could link AXIS holdings to participation in certain platform activities and ecosystem decisions. These functions have not yet been implemented, and holding AXIS is not required to contribute training data.

AXIS was developed by the team behind Axis Robotics, a project founded in 2025 by Chris Feng and Christine Cao.

Chris Feng is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Axis Robotics. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Chainbase and held positions in consulting and investment management. Christine Cao is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), responsible for marketing, community development and contributor engagement.

Axis Robotics is operated by Anima Technology Pte. Ltd. The project develops infrastructure for collecting robotics training data, evaluating contributions and preparing datasets for AI model training.
