Question 1

What is Anime (ANIMEONBASE)?

Accepted Answer

Anime (ANIMEONBASE) is a cryptocurrency token on the Base Network, designed to support and unite the on-chain anime and art community. Initially created as a gesture of appreciation for those contributing to bringing anime into the blockchain space, ANIMEONBASE has evolved into a broader movement. The project is entirely community-driven, with no involvement from venture capitalists, influencers, or external funding. The token does not have any built-in utility beyond its role in supporting art and community engagement. Its official mascot, Mina, is a cat that represents inclusivity and the shared love for anime and digital art within the community.

ANIMEONBASE explicitly states that it has no financial value or utility. The project does not guarantee any price stability, and users are advised not to invest money they cannot afford to lose. The project team does not take responsibility for the token’s price movements.

***Although 'ANIME' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Anime (animeonbase.art) token's smart contract, it is in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'ANIMEONBASE' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.***
