Question 1

What is Animecoin?

Accepted Answer

Animecoin (ANIME) is a cryptocurrency designed to transform the anime industry into a community-owned creative network. It serves as the foundation for the "Full Stack Anime" strategy, combining original IP creation, mainstream distribution, and blockchain infrastructure to create a participatory anime ecosystem. Animecoin aims to bridge traditional anime media with Web3, allowing fans and creators to engage in content ownership, funding, and governance. It also introduces Animechain, a Layer 3 blockchain leveraging Arbitrum Orbit technology, where ANIME is used as the native gas token.

Question 2

What is the ANIME token used for?

Accepted Answer

The ANIME token functions as the primary utility and governance asset within the Animecoin ecosystem. It enables holders to participate in governance decisions through AnimeDAO, where proposals shape the platform's direction. The token is also used for transactions on Animechain, funding anime projects, incentivising creators, and unlocking exclusive platform features. Additionally, ANIME facilitates a decentralised economy for digital collectibles, fan-driven projects, and community-led initiatives, reinforcing its role as the "Culture Coin" of the anime industry.
