About Alpha City
Alpha City is a UE5-based metaverse on BASE where users can trade land and assets represented as NFTs. Its utility token, AMETA, powers in-world commerce, user transactions, and future ecosystem functions.
Alpha City is a metaverse project built on the BASE network, developed using Unreal Engine 5 to provide high-fidelity visuals and immersive experiences. The platform allows users to purchase digital land (Alpha Lands), construct and customise buildings, and interact within a social-business lifestyle environment. All land and in-game assets are represented as NFTs, enabling ownership, trading, and monetisation. The project emphasises decentralised participation, virtual commerce, and user creativity in a 3D world supported by blockchain technology.
AMETA is the native utility token within the Alpha City metaverse. It supports several on-chain and in-game functions, including:
- Purchasing virtual land and in-world assets
- Facilitating marketplace transactions between players
- Powering services and experiences in the metaverse economy
- Planned integrations such as staking or in-platform governance
AMETA is implemented via smart contracts on Base, ensuring decentralised and transparent asset management.
