AGT was the original governance token of AIVille, a BNB Chain-based simulation where AI agents and human users interact in a shared digital town. It gave holders voting power over system updates, agent behaviour, and integrations. AGT was later rebranded and migrated to AIV through a one-to-one upgrade that replaced its contracts and liquidity pools, aligning the token identity with the project name.
AIVille is a decentralised simulation platform hosted on BNB Chain, designed as a virtual town where autonomous AI agents live, work, and evolve alongside human participants. The protocol makes use of the enhanced Model Context Protocol, which allows agents to remember interactions, adapt to changing conditions, and behave in ways that simulate learning and reasoning. The platform uses smart contracts to anchor the economy and governance on chain, while off-chain models provide language processing and planning for the AI agents.

In order to unify the project’s branding and prepare for long-term scalability, AGT was rebranded and migrated to AIV. The transition was carried out as a one-to-one upgrade, preserving all holder balances through a snapshot. Liquidity pools using AGT were retired, and new pools were launched under the AIV ticker along with a new BNB Chain contract. This step ensured consistency between the project’s name and its governance token while creating a clean foundation for further development.
The AIVille project and its initial token AGT were developed by a team focused on merging AI systems with blockchain-based governance. The team built the technical framework that allows agents to operate with memory and adaptive logic inside an on-chain society.
