What is generative art. Generative art is a sub practice of algorithmic art, algorithmic art is the idea of generating art with computer code and generative art adds randomness to that. What are you most inspired by right now? In terms of artists, there's a lot of them, but I do love very much an artist named Stevie P who has really kind of turned the generative medium into an incredible performance art work. What's a common misconception about generative art? When you're running a generative algorithm, you're actually running the script live in your browser and you're seeing the code, create the art. But oftentimes people think that they're just looking at an image that's stored on a server. What does the future look like for NFTS and art? The future is bright. I think there's a lot of exciting things coming. And I think this technology married to a generative is just really special. How would you convince an artist to join art blocks? If they know how to code, then I would get them excited about the distribution mechanisms. If they don't know how to code, I'd send them to code KM or to learn P five Js, which is the library that we use for a lot of the art on our platform.
