A ledger exploit could endanger defi and Solana based meme Coin Bonk sees a new rally. I'm Jen San Nai. You're watching Coindesk Daily, Sushi's Chief Technology Officer is out with a new warning of an industrywide exploit related to Ledger's connect. Kit. Ledger provides connect kit software that decentralized finance protocols like Lido metamask, Coinbase and Sushi used to connect decentralized applications to its product by compromising the front end of a website or application hackers can alter functions. Users see and con them into inadvertently sending cash to the exploiters rather than their own wallets. Ledger said it has identified and removed a malicious version of the Ledger connect kit JP Morgan. Analysts are cautious about crypto markets next year but expect either to outperform Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies due to an upgrade that will make the Ethereum Blockchain more scalable. The report also notes the S ECs decision on whether to approve spot Bitcoin ETF S is unlikely to spur major gains. Solana based meme Coin bank surged as high as 40% in the past 24 hours after Coinbase said that it would list the token that makes it the third largest meme coin behind Dogecoin and Shiba Inu to be offered on the platform. This comes as the price of briefly rose above $43,000 in the last 24 hours after the Federal Reserve held its benchmark fed funds rate range steady for the third consecutive time.
