The United Nations Turns to NFTs to Inspire Climate Action

Can NFTs engage the masses to participate in the fight against climate change? A United Nations organization has launched a project that tests the idea with young artists to inspire their friends and social networks to take up the cause. Host Isaiah Jackson joins Miroslav Polzer of the U.N. accredited civil society organization IAAI and Global Citizen and Youth Empowerment System (GLOCHA), and Alexander Mitrovich of Unique, the blockchain platform selected to host the NFTs.

A weekly show hosted by “Bitcoin and Black America” author Isaiah Jackson who will explore how crypto is creating and impacting various communities around the world. Central to the program are weekly taped “virtual meet-ups” that Isaiah will organize and host around the U.S. and the rest of the world. Key themes, issues or questions that arise from the meet-up will be further explored during the rest of the show with guests and demos.
