Along the way, the film also features some names familiar in the cryptocurrency world: Gavin Andresen, Charlie Shrem, Roger Ver, Mike Caldwell (Casascius) and Erik Voorhees, among others.
reported last month that the filmmakers are "using the controversial robo-money to complete production" through crowdfunding.
