Coin Metrics is a Boston-based provider of on-chain and off-chain crypto asset market data. Founded in 2017 by Tim Rice, Nic Carter, Aleksei Nokhrin, Jacob Franek and Alexander Bich, it aims to supply both blockchain and market data to analysts, investors, fund managers and researchers, to further the understanding of the dynamics that move crypto markets.

Its services include network data, indices, reference rates, visualization tools, market data feeds, a Twitter sentiment feed, among others.

Coin Metrics publishes the weekly newsletter State of the Network, as well as in-depth reports on a range of crypto market topics.
