Ctrl Wallet (CTRL) is a non-custodial, multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet supporting a wide range of blockchains, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Cosmos, TRON, and THORChain. Designed for asset management across multiple blockchain networks, Ctrl Wallet allows users to interact with decentralised applications (dApps) and manage both digital assets and NFTs. The wallet’s features include a “Gas Tank” for simplified multi-chain transactions and social login options for quick wallet access. As a non-custodial wallet, Ctrl ensures that users retain control over their private keys.

Ctrl Wallet's ecosystem utilises the CTRL token for various functions. Primarily, CTRL is used to cover network fees, allowing users to execute transactions on different chains without needing to hold the native asset for each network. The CTRL token also has governance capabilities, enabling holders to vote on certain decisions affecting the wallet’s development. A deflationary mechanism is incorporated into the token’s structure: a portion of the wallet’s revenue and liquidity provider fees are allocated towards buying and burning CTRL tokens, reducing its circulating supply over time.

Ctrl Wallet was initially launched in 2020 under the name XDEFI Wallet. It was founded by Emile Dubié, who currently serves as CEO, with backing from investors such as Mechanism Capital, Delphi Digital, and Morningstar Ventures. The project rebranded to Ctrl Wallet to reflect the platform’s revised direction and updated token model. Since its launch, Ctrl Wallet has grown to serve several hundred thousand users globally.
