Collector Crypt (CARDS) is a Solana-based token designed to power a platform that tokenizes physical graded trading cards into redeemable NFTs. It offers a blend of physical and digital asset ownership: cards are authenticated, stored, and represented on chain; users can open randomized digital packs, trade, or redeem cards. The token’s utility spans marketplace fees, buyback guarantees, pack purchases, and access to premium features.

Collector Crypt is a Solana-based platform that bridges physical trading cards (especially graded Pokémon cards) with blockchain by tokenizing them into NFTs. The platform stores authenticated, graded cards in secure vaults; mints NFTs representing those cards; allows users to open randomized “packs” (gacha packs) of NFTs; trade them on-chain; or redeem NFTs for the physical cards.

The native token CARDS is used to operate within the Collector Crypt ecosystem (marketplace, transactions, governance, supporting liquidity, etc.).

Some of the primary utilities and functions of CARDS are:

  • Paying for digital pack purchases (“gacha”) and marketplace transactions.

  • Enabling instant buybacks: the platform offers users a buyback guarantee for card NFTs, often around 85-90% of the real-world market price for the physical card.

  • Facilitating redemption: holders of the NFTs representing physical cards can redeem them for the actual physical card.

  • Supporting liquidity in both the NFT/card markets and for the CARDS token via marketplace activity.

  • Other utility features: features like premium passes (“Card Club”) for early access to drops or special opportunities.

Collector Crypt is founded and operates as a project integrating RWA (real-world assets) collectibles with blockchain tech. It's built on Solana. It uses grading by trusted third-party graders (PSA, CGC) for physical cards before tokenization. The project has raised funds (presale) and is backed by investors/partners, though public sources do not clearly list all team members or full governance structure.
