Wrapped BNB (WBNB) is a token that mirrors the value of Binance Coin (BNB) but operates on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Unlike BNB, which is native to Binance Chain, WBNB conforms to the BEP-20 standard, making it compatible with the various decentralised applications and smart contracts on BSC.

WBNB is essential for interacting with the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem.
