UP is the native utility token of the Superform Protocol, a multichain yield infrastructure that bundles ordered onchain actions into a single execution flow. UP is used to coordinate protocol mechanics across core components and products such as SuperVaults and SuperAssets. It can be staked to mint sUP, which is used for onchain governance over parameters such as fees, strategy approvals and SuperAsset allocation and risk settings. UP is also used for SuperVault upkeep tied to price-per-share updates, is designed to be burned during those updates and can be bonded by validators who attest to updates under protocol rules that may include slashing for defined misconduct. Superform (UP) was co-founded by Vikram Arun, Blake Richardson and Alex Cort.
Superform is a multichain yield infrastructure protocol designed to bundle actions across different blockchains into a single execution flow. In v2, user intents can be expressed as ordered onchain “hooks” (for example bridging, swapping and depositing) which are validated and executed through a Merkle-verified process. Interactions are routed through modular smart accounts, with an execution layer that can coordinate steps across chains while keeping accounting and fee routing consistent.
Within this system, UP is the protocol’s native token used as a coordination asset across core components and higher-level products such as SuperVaults and SuperAssets.
Staking to sUP for governance: Staking UP mints sUP, which is used to propose and vote on protocol parameters such as fee structures, strategy approvals and SuperAsset allocation and risk settings
SuperVault upkeep: A flat amount of UP is used for strategist upkeep tied to SuperVault price-per-share updates and is designed to be burned during those updates
Validator bonding and slashing alignment: Validators can bond UP to attest to SuperVault updates, with slashing enforced by protocol rules for defined misconduct conditions
Protocol coordination flows: Protocol-level routing and budgeting mechanisms can route fees and other value flows through onchain coordination contracts based on governance-set parameters
