DEXTools' original token, DEXT, was a key element of the DEXTools app in the DeFi sector. Starting with 200 million tokens, it reduced to 150 million after burning 50 million team tokens. Operating on a deflationary model, 10% of subscription tokens were burned monthly. Primarily, DEXT offered access to DeFi trading analytics. Developed by Frederic and Javier in 2020, this version is now succeeded by a new token, shifting focus from the legacy DEXT.
