Beldex is a privacy-focused blockchain network that provides confidential transactions and decentralised applications (dApps) within its ecosystem. Originally a fork of Monero, it incorporates features such as Ring Confidential Transactions (RingCT), stealth addresses, and masternodes to enhance privacy and security. The network aims to provide anonymous messaging, private browsing, and decentralised VPN services.

Beldex operates on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, where masternodes validate transactions and secure the network. These masternodes also facilitate instant transactions through a second-layer protocol called Flash. Additionally, Beldex supports interoperability with other blockchains via bridges to Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Ethereum, and Polkadot.

BDX is the native token of the Beldex ecosystem, and it serves the following purposes:

• Private Transactions: BDX facilitates confidential and untraceable transactions using RingCT and stealth addresses.
• Masternode Staking: Users can stake BDX to operate masternodes, which validate transactions and support network functions.
• dApp Utility: BDX is used within various privacy-focused applications, such as BChat (decentralised messaging), BelNet (decentralised VPN), and Beldex Browser.
• Interoperability: BDX can be bridged to other blockchains for use in cross-chain transactions.
