Rayn

Rayn, represented by the AKTIO token, is a decentralised cryptocurrency platform. The AKTIO coin, developed by Automata ICO Ltd, adheres to the ERC-20 standard and is constructed on the Ethereum blockchain. It serves as a digital currency for the exchange of various assets and for settling international transactions across multiple industries. This token enables community members to participate in and invest in the Rayn ecosystem, thereby offering them the opportunity to become active contributors and beneficiaries of the ecosystem's growth. The platform is designed to empower users to be more than just passive users, but active participants in its ecosystem​​​​​​.

The AKTIO token, vital to the Rayn ecosystem, serves multiple purposes. Chiefly, it enhances the Euro Vault, a key component of Rayn's platform. Users can achieve Ambassador status by staking 250 AKTIO tokens, which brings several benefits. These include the opportunity to earn up to a 10% annual percentage yield (APY), compared to the usual 4%. Ambassador status also grants a 30% discount on cryptocurrency exchange fees. Additional perks include the option to pay fees using AKTIO with a 25% discount, an extra 5% AKTIO on top of the standard 15% yield rate in the forthcoming mining vault, lower World membership fees, and a 15% annual interest rate for staking AKTIO tokens.

Rayn, originally established as Automata and subsequently rebranded to akt.io, was co-founded by Gael Itier, Stephane Perrin, Jean Yves Guillou, and Julien Halimi. Gael Itier, who founded Automata in 2017, previously developed a wealth management department at a German financial institution, an experience that inspired him to adapt algorithmic trading for the retail market, typically used for high-net-worth individual investment portfolios. Automata, later renamed Rayn, established its office in Sophia-Antipolis, France, specialising in AI and Tech Development. Stephane Perrin, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor with over 15 years of experience in real estate, hospitality, and finance, having launched and managed various businesses across different sectors. Jean Yves Guillou, the Chief Investment Officer & Head of Market Research, holds a Master’s degree in Financial Markets and has over 15 years of experience as a Global Macro & Forex Strategist, with significant expertise in blockchain and tokenisation developed within the Automata team. Julien Halimi, the Chief Product Officer, is a serial entrepreneur who has operated import & export businesses across China, Indonesia, and France, dealing in various consumer goods and providing exclusive floral arrangements for luxury events in Europe, Asia, the Indian Ocean, and the Caribbean Islands.
