In a lawsuit filed against Seychelles-based crypto-exchange KuCoin on Thursday, New York Attorney General (NYAG) Letitia James alleged the firm violated securities laws by offering tokens, including ether (ETH), that meet the definition of a security without registering with the attorney general's office.
