The global payment platform unveils latest Bitcoin feature allowing users to instantly load funds onto Payza Cards, both on desktop site and within the Payza App

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM–(August 17, 2017)Payza, an award-winning global online payment platform, today announced a one-step process to convert existing Bitcoin held within a Payza account into US Dollars and load those funds directly onto a Payza Card. With this new service, members no longer need to convert Bitcoin funds to US Dollars and then manually load their Payza Card. The one-step loading option makes the Payza Card one of the fastest and most convenient ways to convert Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies into spendable cash.

The new feature applies to all Bitcoin currently being held within a Payza account. In cases where members use an additional Bitcoin wallet to store Bitcoin, those Bitcoin can be transferred into their Payza account and then instantly loaded to their Payza Card. The Payza Card is a reloadable US Dollar prepaid card. Payza Cards are available in over 190 countries around the world and are accepted online, in-stores, and at most ATMs.

“Our members continue to embrace Bitcoin and we are committed to offering top-of-the-line features to make these transactions as convenient as possible,” said Firoz Patel, Payza’s CEO. “With Bitcoin’s increasing consumer adoption, we believe now is the time to expand our cryptocurrency offerings and we’re excited to do exactly that, in a big way. Following today’s announcement, Payza members in over 190 countries can take advantage of one of the world’s fastest, easiest Bitcoin to physical cash conversions. The speed of these conversions combined with Payza’s global reach makes this offering unlike anything currently available on the market.”

To load a Payza Card with Bitcoin, members must simply initiate a withdraw funds transaction in their Payza account, selecting the Payza Card as their withdrawal method. When selecting the currency balance to withdraw from, members can choose Bitcoin to make a conversion and load the Payza Card.
In this way, Payza members automatically exchange their Bitcoin to US Dollars and load the Payza Card with the exchanged amount.

“With digital payments continuing to be a dominant force for a growing number of global e-commerce transactions, we expect cryptocurrencies will attain mainstream usage,” said Patel. “Our enhanced Bitcoin features are designed for effortless transactions to more effectively meet the needs of today’s digital consumers. These services are for all online consumers, not just for existing Bitcoin enthusiasts. Payza's services are designed to be a great entry point for Bitcoin neophytes.”

The company also released its latest Payza App update which incorporates many of Payza’s existing Bitcoin services, including the new Bitcoin to Payza Card loading option. The update also provides members with an easy way to exchange Bitcoin from outside Bitcoin Wallets into fiat currency within a Payza account, or to simply transfer those Bitcoin into their Payza accounts.
