Tuur Demeester is the founder of bitcoin alpha fund Adamant Capital and a longtime proponent of bitcoin. He is a market analyst, trader and investor and advocate of the Austrian school of economics.
Demeester first became involved in the crypto space when he recommended bitcoin as an investment in his investment newsletter, “Macro Trends,” in 2012. At the time, bitcoin was priced at $5. Demeester opened Adamant Capital in 2017 with the goal of creating a fund to outperform bitcoin.
Prior to his work in bitcoin and blockchain, Demeester co-founded think tank The Belgian Rothbard Institute in 2007. Additionally, he established two private schools in the Netherlands and Belgium. He is also a freelance translator, and has translated Jesus Huerta de Soto’s “Money, Bank Credit, and Economic Cycles” into Dutch.
