At the Trinity Center for Digital Business, researchers are focused on creating and disseminating knowledge about digital business and business analytics. One area of interest specifically is digital finance and blockchain. Scholars have published 90 blockchain research papers with a notable 2,917 citations.

Students engage with discussion of blockchain and related applications with the Dublin University Computer Science Society, TCD Internet Society, and Trinity Student Managed Fund.
