The CoinDesk Industry Group Select Equal Weight Index is designed to measure the performance of the largest digital asset in each DACS Industry Group that meets certain market capitalization, trading and custody requirements. Constituents are equally weighted at each reconstitution. These digital assets represent Web 3.0 that are characterized by open, autonomous, and decentralized technologies.
The Index is based on the Digital Asset Classification Standard (DACS). Constituents must be included in DACS to be eligible for the Index. For more information on DACS including a description and definitions, please refer to the DACS Glossary. For updated information on our index announcements, methodologies, index policies, index catalogues, reconstitution calendars and consultations, please visit our Governance page.
