CoinDesk Currency Index (CCY)

The CoinDesk Currency Index (CCY) is designed to measure the market capitalization weighted performance of currency protocols that are included in the Digital Asset Classification Standard (DACS). Inclusion of a digital asset in CCY is subject to minimum trading and exchange eligibility requirements.

The Index is based on DACS. To be eligible for the index, constituents of the index must be included in DACS and assigned to the Currency Sector. For more information on DACS, including sector definitions, please refer to the DACS page.

The CMI family of indices functions as a benchmark for digital asset allocation models that guide investor decisions on how much to invest in each asset class.
