Jennifer Sanasie

Jenn Sanasie is a digital video journalist with more than a decade of experience in front of and behind the camera. She is focused on analyzing the trends that are shaping society through the lens of business and popular culture. She is a co-founder of Streambed Media, a company that helps creators prove ownership of their content through the use of blockchain-driven verification. More recently in Canada, she has worked closely with brands as a producer, to strengthen their digital presence through creating compelling video content. During her time at News24 in South Africa, she was part of the inaugural News24 Video team - which pioneered digital video content in Africa. Her mandate was to tell compelling stories that captured the vibrant and sometimes complicated landscape of the continent. Here, she had the honor of interviewing Holocaust survivor, Henia Bryer and anti-apartheid activist, Ahmed Kathrada. Jenn has also created a name for herself in the music industry and contributes to Kind Magazine, one of Canada’s fastest-growing lifestyle magazines. Here, she’s interviewed the likes of Sean Paul, Skip Marley and Tommy Chong. She has earned an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and is currently studying the future of innovative technologies when it comes to regulation at the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto. In her spare time - she loves to learn about new cultures through food and wine!
